Many people often overlook the Gili Islands and wind up taking their Instructor training in Bali and in turn find themselves returning home rather than finding a job locally. Bali, the island of the gods, is a fantastic place to take a holiday and also has some truly amazing dive sites but when it comes to teaching PADI Courses the Gili Islands certifies more courses than anywhere in Indonesia and therefore is the place where you will find the best place to gain experience and find work.

Our program prepares candidates for a real career in teaching recreational diving. The IDC Gili Islands program takes place at Trawangan Dive, the first ever established PADI 5 Star IDC Career Development Center in the Gili Islands and in fact the entire Lombok region. All professional Instructor level programs are conducted by renowned PADI Course Director Holly Macleod.

Trawangan Dive has constantly been praised by PADI and customers alike providing spacious training facilities and some of the most experienced instructors in Indonesia which makes a perfect environment for potential PADI Instructors to train for their future career. Once the IDC has been completed and the candidates have passed their Instructor Examinations they are most welcome to team teach with our seasoned instructor and develop their own teaching style.

Our Platinum PADI Course Director is always on hand to assist and advise new instructors with their new career choices. She has wealth of industry experience having worked lived and dived in wide range of locations and undertaken many different dive related roles. She is always happy to assist new instructors when looking for work, being able to advise people about what may be expected by potential employers and what to expect from certain jobs and what to expect from certain diving locations.
